Description
This free digital downloadable poster is handy to have on your wall, providing a quick reference for learners and educators to refer to when learning when to use a final c, k, or ck for vocabulary ending with the /k/ sound. We use c with multi-syllable words that have a final short vowel syllable, we use k with single-syllable words with a long vowel sound, r control sound, or another consonant sound, immediately before the /k/ sound, and we use ck when the /k/ sound is immediately after a short vowel sound. Remember, there are always exceptions to the rule!
